Soothing Calendula–Carrot Facial Mask

Calendula oil and carrot seed essential oil come together to soothe and moisturize irritated skin. The carrots and honey in this recipe are natural antiseptics that leave skin feeling fresh and healthy.

1 organic carrot, boiled and mashed

1 teaspoon raw honey

5 drops calendula oil

3 drops carrot seed essential oil

1.In a small bowl, combine the carrot and raw honey, mixing until smooth.

2.Add the calendula oil and carrot seed essential oil, mixing again to incorporate.

3.Using your fingertips, apply the mask to your freshly washed face.

4.Relax for 15 to 20 minutes.

5.Rinse your face with cool water when finished. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer.

6.Use 2 to 3 times weekly.

Chamomile Facial Compress

Instant relief! This soothing compress is a quick, easy remedy that eases discomfort quickly. Chamomile essential oil helps stop inflammation and itching while promoting faster healing.

½ cup hot tap water

1 teaspoon coconut oil

6 drops chamomile essential oil

1.In a shallow bowl, combine the hot tap water and coconut oil.

2.Add the chamomile essential oil and stir.

3.Soak a soft cloth with the mixture and squeeze out the excess liquid.

4.Place the cloth over your face and rest for 15 minutes, refreshing the cloth with the warm solution each time it cools.

5.Apply once or twice daily. Use for as many days as eczema persists.
