Ginger Smelling Salt
YIELD: 1 OUNCE
STORAGE: SMALL GLASS JAR
TIME: 2 MINUTES
The aroma of ginger essential oil is a powerful weapon in your arsenal against nausea. This smelling salt is a good choice for nausea associated with motion sickness and morning sickness, too.
1 ounce coarse sea salt
20 drops ginger essential oil
1.In a small glass jar, combine the sea salt with the ginger essential oil.
2.Shake well to blend.
4.Inhale deeply for 10 to 15 seconds when feeling nauseous.
5.Use as often as needed. When the fragrance starts to fade, refresh with additional essential oil.

TIME: 15 MINUTES
Peppermint and ginger combine to help the digestive tract to relax, easing the muscle spasms that lead to feelings of nausea.
1 tablespoon dried peppermint leaves, crushed
1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, peeled and grated
1¼ cups boiling water
Honey or stevia (optional)
1.Put the peppermint leaves and ginger root in a tea ball or infuser. Place the tea ball in a mug of the boiling water.
2.Steep the herbs for 15 minutes.
3.Sweeten with honey or stevia, if desired, and drink the tea while relaxing. Enjoy as often as needed.
