Eucalyptus–Rosemary Smelling Salt

YIELD: 1 OUNCE
STORAGE: SMALL GLASS JAR
TIME: 5 MINUTES

Eucalyptus and rosemary work in concert to knock out stuffiness and other discomforts associated with sinusitis. This remedy is easy to take along so you can enjoy quick relief as needed.

1 ounce coarse sea salt

20 drops eucalyptus essential oil

20 drops rosemary essential oil

1.In a small glass jar, combine all of the ingredients.

2.Close the jar tightly and shake well to blend.

3.Remove the cap or lid and place your nose over the opening, inhaling deeply for 20 seconds.

4.Inhale this smelling salt as often as needed. If you notice that the aroma is beginning to fade after several uses, refresh the salt by adding another 10 to 20 drops of each essential oil.

Images When you are over your illness and no longer need the smelling salts, transform them into bath salts. Add 10 drops of lavender essential oil and rinse the jar out into the bathtub while drawing a warm bath for yourself.
