THE DAY AFTER

HOME FROM THE HOLIDAYS

Holidays are supposed to be mini-vacations but it’s tough to get your life back on track after staying up too late, eating too much rich food, and engaging in the usual debates with family. Staying hydrated, eating right, and recommitting to an exercise habit will put you on the fast track to physical and emotional recovery. For extra support, incorporate herbs and essential oils into your health plan to help you bounce back from the stress of getting back to reality.

1¼ cups water

1.In a small saucepan, add the gingko biloba, licorice root, and honey to the water. Bring to a boil.

2.Reduce the heat and steep for 10 minutes.

4.Drink 2 to 3 cups of tonic daily while getting back to your usual schedule.
