Celebrate your next adventure with a few of your favorite treats, and then take a little well-earned time out to break out the herbs and break in your new bathtub.
Arnica–Lavender Muscle Soak
YIELD: 4 CUPS
STORAGE: AIRTIGHT CONTAINER
TIME: 30 MINUTES
What’s the next best thing to an Epsom salt bath? One that’s spiked with arnica, lavender, and rosemary essential oils. It’s just what the doctor ordered to relax tired muscles and promote mental relaxation.
4 cups Epsom salt
1 ounce calendula oil
½ teaspoon arnica essential oil
½ teaspoon lavender essential oil
10 drops rosemary essential oil
1.In an airtight container, combine all the ingredients.
2.With a spoon, stir well to blend.
3.Draw a warm bath.
4.Add 1 cup of bath salt and swish to dissolve.
5.Spend 30 minutes soaking while breathing deeply.
Enjoy this bath any time you feel tired and sore. It’s a fantastic one to use after workouts.
